Calm, trusted support for your birth journey. A supportive foundation for your birth experience. The Gentle Start package includes a prenatal check-up and full birth support to help you approach labor with confidence and peace of mind. Karin works with you to prepare for a calm birth and provides continuous support from the moment labor begins until your baby is safely in your arms. Includes • 1 Pre-natal Check-up • Full Birth Support You can select from the following optional add-ons for a tailored support ☑️ Post-Natal Home Visit - Support for the first days with your baby A post-natal visit designed to support both mother and baby after birth. This includes a medical check-up for your baby, weight monitoring and jaundice assessment, as well as a physical check-up for the mother and guidance on breastfeeding and newborn care. (as many as you need.) ☑️ Intensive Birth Preparation Course - Feel prepared, confident, and informed before labor begins A personalized online birth preparation course designed for expectant parents. Two sessions of two hours each provide in-depth guidance tailored to your situation and preferences. Topics may include: • Preparing for natural birth • VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) • Planned cesarean birth • Induction of labor • Understanding public and private healthcare systems • How partners can support during labor • Breathing techniques, positioning, and pain relief options ☑️ Additional Pre-Natal Home Visits - Extra support whenever you need it Additional home visits can be scheduled for continued monitoring, guidance, and reassurance before birth. ☑️ International Birth Support (Outside Hong Kong) For families who wish to have me present for the birth outside of my usual locations, I offer international birth support. Cancellation Policy
All sessions can be booked and paid for in advance through the website to secure your spot. Due to the nature of midwifery and birth support, flexibility in scheduling is sometimes necessary. Births are unpredictable, and Karin may be called to attend a labor or support a mother in urgent need at short notice. In such cases, your session may need to be rescheduled. If this happens, you will be contacted as soon as possible, and a new time will be arranged at the earliest convenient opportunity. We appreciate your understanding that supporting births and urgent maternal care is a priority, and occasional adjustments are part of providing this level of care. Clients are welcome to reschedule their own appointments with adequate notice, subject to availability. All bookings remain valid and will always be honored, even if rescheduling is required.
