Service Description
This 45-minute live online session is designed for parents who want to feel confident about expressing, storing, handling, and safely feeding breast milk. We will cover everything you need to know about pumping and breast milk storage, including: • When and how to start pumping • Choosing the right breast pump for your needs • Creating a pumping routine that works for you and your baby • Safe breast milk storage and handling guidelines • Hygiene and cleaning of pumps, bottles, and accessories • Proper storage, transportation, and warming of breast milk • Maintaining milk quality and safety during storage • Common pumping challenges and practical solutions Unlike a pre-recorded video course, this is a live online class led by an experienced midwife. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss your individual situation, and receive personalised guidance throughout the session. Plenty of time is reserved for questions and answers, ensuring you leave with clear, practical information about pumping, hygiene, and breast milk storage, along with the confidence to make pumping work for your family.
Cancellation Policy
All sessions can be booked and paid for in advance through the website to secure your spot. Due to the nature of midwifery and birth support, flexibility in scheduling is sometimes necessary. Births are unpredictable, and Karin may be called to attend a labor or support a mother in urgent need at short notice. In such cases, your session may need to be rescheduled. If this happens, you will be contacted as soon as possible, and a new time will be arranged at the earliest convenient opportunity. We appreciate your understanding that supporting births and urgent maternal care is a priority, and occasional adjustments are part of providing this level of care. Clients are welcome to reschedule their own appointments with adequate notice, subject to availability. All bookings remain valid and will always be honored, even if rescheduling is required.
